Community Foundation Scholars

A.J. ARCHIBALD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Wendy Pullen, daughter of Garry and Denise Pullen, will be an incoming freshman at the University of Indianapolis where she plans to study occupational therapy.

BETA TAU PSI IOTA XI SCHOLARSHIP

Stephanie Bertram, daughter of Darrel and Nadine Bertram, is a second-year graduate student at Ball State University studying speech/language pathology.

JENNY BUTLER SCHOLARSHIP

Wendy Pullen, daughter of Garry and Denise Pullen, will be an incoming freshman at the University of Indianapolis where she plans to study occupational therapy.

CLINTON CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL VISION SCHOLARSHIP

Xan Gross, daughter of Sally Dirbas and Michael Gross, plans to attend Hanover College to study pre-med;

Abigail Marcum, daughter of Brian and Annette Marcum, will attend Purdue University to pursue a degree in nutrition, fitness and health;

Lance Miller, son of Doug and Debbie Miller, has plans to attend Ball State University where he will study business;

Jenna Pelling, daughter of Stan and Janet Pelling, will be an incoming freshman at Indiana University-Kokomo studying business administration/agribusiness;

Jenna Pelling, daughter of Stan and Janet Pelling, will be an incoming freshman at Indiana University-Kokomo studying business administration/agribusiness.

ANNA FUDGE FIELD AND MARY S. FIELD ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP

Danielle Gould, daughter of Tom and Denise Smith, will be a freshman at Ball State University where she plans to pursue a degree in aquatic biology.

LOUISE AND ROBERT A. HEDGCOCK HISTORY ESSAY SCHOLARSHIP

Clay Carter is the son of Cary & Bobbi Carter and will be an incoming freshman at Purdue University studying engineering.

Zachary Nichols is the son of Shari Nichols and will be an incoming freshman at IUPUI studying criminal justice.

Alyssa Bell is the daughter of Marshall & Jami Bell and an incoming freshman at Purdue University-pursuing a degree in nursing.

VERN AND LILLIAN KASPAR SCHOLARSHIP

Chad Kingsolver, son of Richard and Cindy Kingsolver, plans to attend Purdue University to pursue a degree in chemical engineering.

Josue Ordaz, son of Juan and Marivel Ordaz, will be an incoming freshman at Purdue University where he plans to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.

Clinton Central High School:

Chad Kingsolver, son of Richard and Cindy Kingsolver will attend Purdue University to obtain a degree in chemical engineering.

Aaron Rogers, son of Stewart and Kimberly Rogers, will attend IUPUI in the fall to pursue a career in a sports medicine.

Clinton Prairie High School:

Christina Bailey, daughter of Bradley and Annette Bailey, will be an incoming freshman at Purdue University studying animal science.

Erin Overman, daughter of Craig and Cheryl Overman, will be an incoming freshman at Indiana State University studying biology.

Frankfort High School:

Bernadette Frey, daughter of Kenneth and Alvia Frey, will be an incoming freshman at Indiana University studying Elementary Education.

MULBERRY HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

Joseph Hoffman, son of Brian and Louisa Hoffman, attends Indiana University Purdue University-Indianapolis pursuing a degree in physical/health education.

Amanda Krammes, daughter of Kenneth and Pamela Krammes, attends Purdue University pursuing a degree in nursing.

Christopher Ruckel, son of Ronald Ruckel, attends Ball State University pursuing a degree in social studies education.

Kelsey Schutz, daughter of Vincent and Debora Schutz, attends Purdue University studying elementary education.

Addie Scott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scott, attends Purdue University studying elementary education.

LILLY ENDOWMENT COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

These scholarships are being awarded from the Clinton County Community Foundation. The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship committee and the grantmaking committee of the Foundation recommended to the Board of Directors that the finalists for the Clinton County Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship be awarded scholarships in recognition of their academic achievement, community and school involvement, potential for success and participation in the interview process. The following are the awardees for 2009:

CLINTON COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SCHOLARS

Laura Brassie, daughter of Gregory and Peggy Brassie, is a 2009 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School. She will be attending Indiana State University in the fall, where she will be studying music business.

Jacob Harden, son of Kenneth and Leah Harden, is a 2009 graduate of Clinton Central High School. He will be attending Purdue University where he will be studying crop and soil science.

Adam Moore, son of Greg Moore and Ellen Young, is a 2009 graduate of Clinton Central High School. He will be attending Purdue University in the fall where he will be studying management.

Kristen Rich, daughter of Craig Rich and Annette Goodnight, is a 2009 graduate of Frankfort High School. In the fall, Kristen plans to attend Purdue University.

Jessica Rodkey, daughter of Fred and Karyn Rodkey, is a 2009 graduate of Rossville High School. Jessica will be attending Purdue University studying wildlife sciences & anthropology.

Dane Snyder, son of Curtis and Gail Snyder, is a 2009 graduate of Rossville High School. Dane will be attending Purdue University to pursue a degree in physics.

Kyle Stuard, son of F. Scott and Marta Stuard, is a 2009 graduate of Frankfort High School. He will be attending Butler University to study business/law.

LILLY ENDOWMENT COMMUNITY SCHOLAR

The 2009 recipientS of the Lilly Endowment Scholarship are:

Jacob D. Batts, son of Steve and Debra Batts, is a graduate of Clinton Prairie High School. In the fall, he will attend Purdue University to pursue a degree in engineering.

Troy D. Chester, son of Amy Chester and the late Rodney Chester and grandson of Karen Mohler, is a 2009 graduate of Frankfort High School. In the fall, Troy will attend Rose Hulman Institute of Technology to pursue a degree in civil engineering.
