Community Foundation Scholars

A.J. ARCHIBALD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Garrett Ferrel, son of Steven and Wendie Ferrel, will be attending Indiana State University where he plans to study education. 

BETA TAU PSI IOTA XI SCHOLARSHIP

Stephanie Bertram, daughter of Darrel and Nadine Bertram, is a first-year graduate student at Ball State University studying speech/language pathology.

JENNY BUTLER SCHOLARSHIP

Sarah Adams, daughter of Michael and Sherry Adams, will be an incoming freshman at Ball State University where she plans to study nursing;

Kristin Conner, daughter of Michael and Barbara Conner, will attend IUPUI to study nursing.

CLINTON CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL VISION SCHOLARSHIP

Sarah Adams, daughter of Michael ad Sherry Adams, will attend Ball State University;

Allison Caldwell, daughter of Kirk and Maria Caldwell, has plans to attend Ball State University;

Brittany Cheek, daughter of Jeffrey and Shannon Cheek, will attend Valparaiso University;

Courtney Smith, daughter of Ned and Marcia Smith, has plans to attend Black Hawk East Junior College.

CLINTON CENTRAL TEAM PLAYER SCHOLARSHIP

Benjamin Watkins, son of Richard Renita Watkins, will attend Stevens Institute of Technology.

CLARENCE COCHRAN AGRICULTURAL SCHOLARSHIP

Zachary Livengood, son of Jerry and Anne Livengood, plans to attend Purdue University to study wildlife/animal sciences.

ANNA FUDGE FIELD AND MARY S. FIELD ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP

Amanda Schlatter, daughter of Jim and Dee Schlatter, will be a freshman at Purdue University where she plans to pursue a degree in nursing.

LOUISE AND ROBERT A. HEDGCOCK HISTORY ESSAY SCHOLARSHIP

Amanda Roberts, is the daughter of Ronald and Marilee Roberts and will be an incoming freshman at Purdue University studying education;

Gus Theofanis, son of Anthony and Mary Theofanis, will attend Purdue University to study mathematics;

Ryan Whitney, son of Beth Whitney and Doug Whitney, will attend Ivy Tech Community College.

VERN AND LILLIAN KASPAR SCHOLARSHIP

Brenton Dunham, son of Tim and Diana Dunham, plans to attend Purdue University to pursue a degree in chemical engineering;

Shawn Walker, son of Max and Mary Ellen Walker, will be an incoming freshman at Purdue University where he plans to pursue a degree in civil engineering.

WILLIAM AND DORIS MOHR SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Clinton Central High School:

John Robinson III, son of John Robinson, Jr. and Stacey Robinson, will attend Purdue University to obtain a degree in computer science;

Carmen Stockberger, daughter of Byron and Annette Stockberger, will attend Ball State University to pursue a career in advertising and public relations.

Clinton Prairie High School:

Eric Myers, son of Jon and Terri Myers, will be an incoming freshman at Purdue University studying chemistry;

Shawn Walker, son of Max and Mary Ellen Walker, will attend Purdue University to study civil engineering.

Frankfort High School:

Katrina Bailey, daughter of Rick and Christine Bailey, will be an incoming freshman at Purdue University studying business management;

Nicholas Goldsmith, son of Cynthia Goldsmith and stepson of Rodney Crew, will attend Purdue University studying plant science;

Abby Lidester, daughter of Michael and Susan Lidester, will study nursing at IUPUI;

Rachel Justine Redington-Noble, daughter of Gary Noble and Kim Redington, will be pursuing a pre-medicine degree at Indiana University.

Rossville High School:

John Mitchel, son of Roy and Susan Mitchel, will attend Purdue University to study business management.

Geny Studebaker, daughter of Guy and Karen Studebaker, will be an incoming freshman at Indiana University-Kokomo.

MULBERRY HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

Nick Butcher, son of Karen Irk, is a recent graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington with a major in psychology;

Amanda Krammes, daughter of Kenneth and Pamela Krammes, will be a junior at Purdue University where she is studying nursing;

Kelsey Schutz, daughter of Vincent and Debora Schutz, will be senior at Purdue University where she is studying elementary education;

Addie Scott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scott, will be a senior at Purdue University studying elementary education.

BARBARA K. SIEGFRIED SCHOLARSHIP

Cameron Woodard, son of Michael Woodard and Lisa Johnston, will be attending Purdue University to study meteorology.

PHYLLIS M. WIDENER MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP

Chelsey Vickary, daughter of John and Jennifer Vickary, will attend Indiana Wesleyan University to study music and children's ministries.

Jeremy Mang, son of Steve Mang and Brenda Mang, is a senior at Anderson University studying music business.

J. ALLEN WYRICK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Jacob Bledsoe, son of Kevin and Kristi Bledsoe, will be attending Purdue University to study fisheries and aquatic sciences.

LILLY ENDOWMENT COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

These scholarships are being awarded from the Clinton County Community Foundation. The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship committee and the grantmaking committee of the Foundation recommended to the Board of Directors that the finalists for the Clinton County Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship be awarded scholarships in recognition of their academic achievement, community and school involvement, potential for success and participation in the interview process. The following are the awardees for 2008:

CLINTON COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SCHOLARS

Daniel Barnes, son of Bradley and Brenda Barnes, is a 2008 graduate of Clinton Central High School. Daniel will attend Butler University to study theatre.

Audrey Brinkley, daughter of Brian and Lynne Brinkley, is a 2008 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School. Audrey will attend Anderson University to study music education.

Nicholas Goldsmith, son of Cynthia Goldsmith and stepson of Rodney Crew, is a 2008 Frankfort H.S. graduate. He will attend Purdue University to study plant science.

Sabrina Huskins, daughter of Elizabeth and George Billy Huskins Jr., is a 2008 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School. Sabrina plans to attend Manchester College to study bio-medical technology.

Amanda Roberts, daughter of Ronald and Marilee Roberts, is a 2008 graduate of Frankfort High School. Amanda will be attending Purdue University to study education.

John David Robinson III, son of John Robinson Jr. and Stacey Robinson, is a 2008 graduate of Clinton Central High School. John will be attending Purdue University to pursue a degree in computer science.

Alexander Snyder, son of Joseph and Jacqueline Snyder, is a 2008 graduate of Frankfort High School. Alex will be attending Butler University to study mechanical engineering and economics.

LILLY ENDOWMENT COMMUNITY SCHOLAR

The 2008 recipientS of the Lilly Endowment Scholarship are:

Autumn Dalton, daughter of Larry and Susan Dalton, is a 2008 graduate of Rossville High School. Autumn will attend Taylor University to pursue a degree in music education.

Tyler Johnston, son and stepson of Diana Brown and Dennis Brown and son and stepson of Kevin Johnston and Lisa Johnston, is a 2008 graduate of Clinton Central High School. Tyler will attend Purdue University to pursue a degree in biology.
